Bravo gentlemen, well sumarized.
Not only does the ACR project have to deal with technical, legal, economic and the littany of other issues to date, it now has the psychological ones. "Wild" is pulling the old "bait and switch" trick with this one. Sadly, there's not much to do about it and the Article 78 they'll surely file once the APA gives hopefully the conditional approval. Keep up the good work and see you on the slopes...hopefully!

Most government agencies do not allow former public officials to be involved in cases like this for a period of time after their tenure. It invites duplicity and cash support from those hoping to gain favor from a person who had a former influential position and apparent inside track.
Enough is enough and he should let the new APA board show its ability to competently handle cases it has been hired to hear. The arrogance of Mr. Glennon and the Adirondack Wild may be their undoing in the long run.

How ironic it is to read accounts of the mayors of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid actively recruiting business for their respective communities and our mayor and village board actively trying to drive business away. And what leverage do you have with your veiled threat "or else"? ACR is a private business!

The legal dust has not yet settled on the Adjudicatory Hearings, and personally speaking, there is a long way to go before any permit is granted. The Village of Tupper Lake had ample opportunity to voice their concerns during the hearings, why didn't you do so? Could this be politically motivated?

Mr. Mayor and Trustees, the death knell is tolling for Tupper Lake and your comments and attitude are driving nails into it's coffin!

Thats terrible. I bet these people have never even skied at Big Tupper before. There has always been the stereotype that a Ski area always equals a big corporate business the is destroying the Ecosystem. But places like Big Tupper barely affect the enviorment. The trails are narrow, Snowmaking doesn't do anything, and quite frankly, I doubt it affects animals much. The trails have been there for over 25 years anyways so if any damage was done, which I doubt, its to late.
